These Mundo Nuovo, Catuai, Catucai, and Acaya varietals were grown in the region of Sul de Minas, Brazil at an altitude of about 3,600ft and are naturally processed. We have been very impressed with this Brazilian natural. It’s soft, sweet, kind of a crowd-pleaser with its nutty and chocolate notes. These beans roast really well, with nice high intensity heat in the beginning, then increasing much more gradually through to the end of the roast. It doesn’t take near as much heat as other coffees do to develop, so I’m able to achieve a lighter roast and grasp some pretty incredible flavors.
